The Warnors Center for the Performing Arts is one of Downtown Fresno’s most treasured cultural landmarks, a historic 1920s entertainment hub that today brings together three unique venues under one roof: the grand Warnors Theatre, the elegant Star Palace banquet hall, and the iconic Frank’s Place restaurant and bar. Originally built by Alexander Pantages and later owned by Warner Brothers, Cinerama, and the City of Fresno, the theater was saved from demolition in the 1970s by local hero Frank Caglia, whose childhood memories of the pipe organ moved him to preserve the building for future generations. Now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Warnors Center continues to restore and revitalize this architectural jewel, relying on donations, grants, volunteers, and community partners to keep its legacy alive. Today, the venue hosts concerts, films, private events, cultural celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds, serving as a vibrant anchor for downtown arts and entertainment. Whether you’re catching a show, hosting an event, or simply supporting the preservation of Fresno history, Warnors Center offers a one-of-a-kind experience that honors the past while inspiring the future, an irreplaceable piece of local culture kept alive by the community that loves it.
