Downtown Fresno Fiestas Patrias sets free parade and all-day concert for Sunday, Sep. 20
FAHF’s free Fiestas Patrias returns to Fulton Street and Mariposa Plaza on Sunday, Sept. 20, with an 11 a.m. parade, noon opening ceremony and live performances through 9 p.m.
The Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation has locked Sunday, Sept. 20, for Fiestas Patrias 2026 in downtown Fresno at Mariposa Plaza and surrounding Fulton Street blocks. The official schedule lists an 11 a.m. street parade, noon opening ceremony and live performances, festival activities, food vendors, a kids play zone and cultural programming from 1 to 9 p.m. FAHF bills the day as free and family-friendly for all ages. Headliners for the afternoon-evening concert block were still listed as TBA on the FAHF page when checked Labor Day morning, with VIP concert tickets also marked TBA. Artist, parade and vendor applications remain open through the site; Flavio Arechiga is the listed community-events contact. Use this week’s El Grito Visalia as the near-term Independence celebration, then plan ahead for the larger downtown Fresno street festival on the 20th.
