Valley Athletics is a youth sports facility in Fresno, CA, offering training in volleyball, basketball, and pickleball for kids from TK through 12th grade. Located at 5097 E. Dakota Ave, the facility is home to two academies, Valley Volleyball Academy (VVA) and Valley Basketball Academy (VBA), along with open gym time, camps, and monthly memberships. Valley Volleyball Academy offers programs for every stage of development. TK-3rd and 4th-6th graders can start with the Pass/Set/Serve Camp, learning the basics of passing, setting, and serving in a positive, high-energy setting. The All Skills Camp (3rd-8th grade) runs a full week and covers serving, passing, setting, hitting, defense, and live gameplay. More advanced athletes can join Small Group Training (max 8 athletes per coach) for focused skill work, the DS/Libero Intensive for back-row specialists in 7th-12th grade, or the Summer Circuit, a 4-week league that pairs twice-weekly training with Saturday match play for 4th-8th graders. A College Coaches Camp gives graduating classes 2026-2029 direct exposure to college coaching staff and recruiting insight. Valley Basketball Academy focuses on skill-level appropriate coaching for 1st-12th graders. The Shooting Lab pairs coordination warm-ups with shooting instruction and competitive drills. Basketball Open Gym (5th-8th and 9th-12th grade) gives athletes coach-led warm-ups and live competitive play, geared toward kids interested in AAU basketball. The Shooting Intensive Program is a small-group monthly commitment with 8 shooting sessions and 4 skill development sessions, digital shot tracking, and milestone rewards. For families who want ongoing weekly training rather than a single camp, Valley Athletics offers monthly memberships across four tiers: Essentials, Prep, Pro, and Rookies, covering ages K through 8th grade with options for volleyball, basketball, and strength and agility training led by Athletic Performance Fresno. Coaches at Valley Athletics include former collegiate and professional players, and the facility also hosts pickleball court time and lessons, with pickleball featured as part of the multi-sport All Sports Camp for K-6th graders. Beyond training, Valley Athletics runs the Court Connection Foundation, which provides financial assistance so more kids in the Central Valley can access coaching and programming regardless of their family's budget. The facility is also available for gym rentals for private events, practices, and tournaments.
